Red Light Revolt!

Beginning Wednesday September 8, 2010, if you run a red light in Fort Lauderdale, Florida you will face consequences. The cost is $158 for each violation. The City of Fort Lauderdale has decided to install cameras at 10 intersections.

In an effort to get its dormant red light camera program pulling in money again, the Hillsborough County Commission is expected to give the green light for a public hearing on restarting the program.
